Secure Tactical LLC was founded by Rob, a highly decorated retired 30-year veteran of The Baltimore County Police Department and one of the most operationally experienced SWAT team leaders in the United States. Our foundation is built on elite, real-world expertise and a proven track record of resolving the most critical high-risk situations.

Proven Leadership & Valor: For 23 years, Rob served on the full-time SWAT team, with 16 years as Team Leader, successfully resolving over 2000 high-risk entries and countless barricade situations. Among his career highlights, he was the senior Team Leader during the nationally recognized “Joseph Palcynski” hostage rescue operation in 2000, for which he was awarded the Baltimore County Medal of Honor and the Police Foundation award for valor.

Unmatched Training Authority: Rob’s expertise spans all facets of tactical operations, specializing in hostage rescue and active shooter incidents. He is a certified instructor who has trained thousands of law enforcement personnel from federal, state, and local agencies, as well as military personnel. His experience also includes providing protection details for multiple high-level politicians, including the President, Vice President, First Lady, and the Pope.

A Trusted Name in Security: Since Rob’s retirement in October 2014, Secure Tactical LLC has become a fully licensed and insured professional security, tactical training, and private investigation company. We are recognized as a trusted security leader within the Jewish community, providing comprehensive security for multiple Jewish schools, Synagogues, and events. Our commitment to excellence extends to security assessments and training for numerous private and public schools, government facilities, and businesses.

Key Leadership Expertise: Tony Malinowski

Tony is a highly decorated retired 32-year veteran of the Baltimore County Police Department and a valued member of the SWAT team for 17 years. He brings extensive experience as a Counter-Sniper, Assault Team member, and Team Leader, having served in all aspects of tactical training.

Elite Instruction and Specialized Training

Tony served as the Senior Firearm Instructor for the SWAT team. He holds multiple firearms and tactical instructor certifications, specializing in tactical firearms and hostage rescue. Tony has provided training for thousands of law enforcement personnel from federal, state, and local agencies.

He is a graduate of the acclaimed United States Secret Service Firearms Instructor School and the LAPD Hostage Rescue School.

Covert Operations and Executive Protection

In addition to his significant tactical experience, Tony specializes in covert surveillance operations, having served as a detective with the Narcotics Division for 9 years. His tenure included a four-year assignment to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force.

He has also provided protection details for multiple high-level politicians, including the President and numerous other dignitaries.

Current Role at Secure Tactical

Tony currently serves as the Senior Tactical Firearms and Active Shooter Instructor, as well as the lead investigator and Team Leader for Executive Protection assignments.
